I am working on my search page and I wanted to make it not cover the leftpane of the site, but I cannot figure out how to do it.

I am using the standard search results module (1.0) and when I place it in the centerpane it will not stay there when I actually do a search. Is this a bug, or a design issue.

SearchResults.ascx

AFAIK search results will always shown like any other dependant module solily in the default pane of the page, named "content pane".
