Does anyone know how to use transactions (e.g. begin, commit, etc.) using the data provider. Suppose I want to update some records in one table and some in another and I want to do this in one transaction; either all succeed or none get done. It would make sense to use the individual methods of the data provider for each table withing one externally controlled transaction.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Otherwise, I'd need to do it in a new stored procedure, but that's kind of redundant, because I've already got the individual ones in the data provider.

Thanks.

If I am not mistaken the DNN DataProviders use Transactions by Default!

Enjoy
