My module has two text boxes and a button. The button has a client side javascript onclick feature that calls a javascript function that sets window.location to go to another page. Works fine when the button is clicked.

I added an onkeypress feature to the text boxes. When the user presses ENTER it calls the same javascript function that uses window.location to go to a new page.

This works when the user is not logged in (authenticated).

When the user is logged in, and there are new modules on the page that are present whenever a user is logged in,  something is intercepting the javascript window.location statement and is changing the querystring portion of the url. Not the base url, just the query string.

Any suggestions as to how to find the offending code?

I solved this problem. The problem occurred because there was a form on the page and the action of the form was invoked even though I was using location.href= . The solution was to add an onsubmit function to the form tag that returned false when the location.href was being used.
