I'm nearly finished with a very extensive upgrade from 3.x.x to 4.7.0, which involved all kinds of custom modules, inappropriatly inheriting core modules, custom login providers, etc...

I am *soooo* close to finished; but I have one last issue!

Users cannot log out!  Whenever a logoff button is clicked, it takes me to the correct URL ending with : ctl/Logoff/Default.aspx, and I see a completely empty default skin ( not even "show on all pages" modules are displayed )... 

However the user is not logged out.  This is true for host accounts and for portal accounts.  No errors are thrown, but something isn't working correctly.

I tried the legasy logoff.aspx page and got redirected to the page above with the same results, and empty skin with no logoff.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Same here, but it only happens on Internet Explorer.  FireFox is ok.

same issue with the logout. Logout works fine in Firefox (tested as superuser, admin, all user). Does not work at all in IE. Page State Persistence is set to Page not Memory, Module caching is Disk not memory. Application has been restarted through the host console as well as on via recycling the app pool on the server. This site is located on production server...exact replica of site developed on localhost. No issues whatsoever with localhost version, only on production server.

Have tried with hard coded URL's and with copy/pasted working URL from Firefox - no luck.

(different issue: but, I did notice while in Firefox that all stacked modules in a right pane stacked properly while in "edit" or "design". However, while in "view", only the top most module display's properly, the rest of the modules stack on top of each other to the right of the top module, rendering all of them useless.)

Anyhow, the Logout issue is a major concern. I am using 4.7.0 btw. Any help on this issue would be GREATLY appreciated.
