Hi There

I'd like to be able to turn the title part of a container into a link on the site. Can this be done without having to modify the core container settings and rendering, or by modifing the container itself?

Regards

If I understand you correctly, you want to click on the title that links to somewhere else...  Since you would have to designate where this is, you one of two options.  Either you can modify the core to allow it, OR you could choose a container that doesn't use a title and then put the following in the "Header" portion in the Module Settings:

<a class="Head" href="http://www.somesite.com/">This is the title I want</a>

I would suggest using the second option, if you can.

Thanks HM

Guessed this would be the answer. Maybe a possible core change?

I would highly discourage any core changes when it is possible to avoid it.  In changing the core to allow the functionality you are looking for, you would also need to add a setting somewhere to tell the title what URL it is supposed to be using.  Such a change is not simple, but it is do-able.

Actually, this works...

<a class="Head" href="http://www.somesite.com/">This is the title I want</a>
Pasted into the title and this gives exactly what is needed!
