I set up a new module using the DNN WAP in VS 2005. I added an ASP.NET calendar control to the module and a label control that displays the date chosen. Everything displays as it should. The issue is when I choose a date as an unauthenticated user the OnSelectionChanged event never fires. If I login as a user and then choose a date then everything works as it should. Anyone have any ideas  as  to why the control will not fire events  for an unauthenticated user?

I got the same issue. Fortunately, I figured out what causes it. Here's the solution. Login as host or admin. Go to the setting page of the module. Under Page Settings > Basic Settings, set Cache Time(secs) to 0 (60 by default).

Cache is the biggest issue for most module developers. If you have a cachetime set but are logged in as admin/host your module will work fine. When logged out though the cache will prevent postbacks from occuring on modules.
