Hi,

I've become pretty familiar with using the UserInfo.XX class, including UserInfo.Profile for the user that is currently logged in.

However, I'd like to look up other user information, based on a UserID (Which I know the id from different bit of code I wrote).  This other UserID will not be in the same Portal, they will always be in the root portal (0).

Is there a way to use the frame to retrieve user information by UserID?

Seemed like a pain to pull directly from the ProfilePropertyDefinition table and cross reference it with the UserProfile table, so I thought there might be an easier, pre-built, way :)

Hi Barrett,

The UserController has a shared method called GetUser which you can use as follows:

 

objUser As UserInfo = UserController.GetUser(PortalId, UserId, False)
