Hello all,

we are using a desktop application build using Delphi.

We would like to add users using this application to our remote, live DNN portal.

Our purpose it to add users to the desktop application and synchronize it to our live users,

therefore, we would like to add some kind of communication between the desktop application with the live portal.

Is there any module that could be easily setup Web Services requests?

What would you suggest.

Thanks!

have you thought about using ActiveDirectory for your user management.  Then, your Delphi application can utilize all the functionality of ActiveDirectory, and DotNetNuke already has ActiveDirectory integration.  That may not be the route you were looking for, but I think it would work in your scenario...

Michael,

That is a nifty package!  Is there a way to use the WAP method of creating webServices for our modules, or must we use the WSP model if we use iWeb?

Thanks!

IWeb comes with source code so at this point you should just go in and grab the code you need. This version requires the WSP model. The next version of IWeb that we are 50% completed and will use WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) will allow you to use the WSP and the WAP format (and C# and VB for your web methods). That version is still in progress but if you feel brave you can download our daily builds at http://www.codeplex.com/IWeb/SourceControl/ListDownloadableCommits.aspx
