I have been attempting to upgrade the conponent use by my module and been having this error for days now.

Could not load file or assembly 'Mediachase.Web.UI.WebControls, Version=2.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=65aa496ea1020e2e' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

I have tried to delete all asp.net temporary files, remove/add back reference and even uninstall/reinstall the component but still having the same error when login using host account, with the rest of the users this is not happening.

Any help will be appreciated.

I would check with the module developer.  it appears that you have some code that is trying to reference an assembly that is no longer there.

I am sure that the file is in my bin folder.  And I have point my reference to this file and this is only happening when log in using host account.
