I need to check some values from the database of my module and depending on the values send some emails.

I need this process to be run every 24 hours and I was thinking of using the DNN built in scheduler, but I have no clue how it works.

Any tutorials or help on how to make a task for the dnn scheduler? thanks in advance.

You'll find this helpful: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=Sa3oPZCNyw0%3D&tabid=478&mid=857

When I wrote my first scheduled task, I also looked at the code for several of the core scheduled tasks.

Bill, WESNet Designs
Team Lead - DotNetNuke Gallery Module Project (Not Actively Being Developed)
Extensions Forge Projects . . .
Current: UserExport, ContentDeJour, ePrayer, DNN NewsTicker, By Invitation
Coming Soon: FRBO-For Rent By Owner

Thanks.

I see that the dnn scheduler won't fill my needs since there's no guarantee it will be run every night, so I just created a simple console program and set it as a windows programmed task.
