Ok, so I'm trying to include a Yahoo map in a custom module that takes advantage of Partial Page Rendering.  In other words, I'm trying to include a Yahoo Map that "smoothly" updates its content based on search results from a user's query.  I've seen it done a million times, but as soon as I turn on Partial Page Rendering and fire off an event from a linkbutton, the entire Yahoo Map just disappears.  Examining the output HTML, the container div is now empty.  If I turn off Parital Page Rendering, the map reloads just fine with the exception of the full page refresh that I'm desperately trying to avoid.

Has anyone had a similar experience?  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!

After more time getting nowhere, I decided to break everything down into the simpliest version and post the code to see if someone could help.  According to Yahoo's developer site, this is all I have to do, but then again, Yahoo isn't taking into account any DNN specifics.  My HTML is as follows:

<<%@ Control Language="vb" Inherits="YourCompany.Modules.YahooMapSearch.ViewYahooMapSearch" CodeFile="ViewYahooMapSearch.ascx.vb" AutoEventWireup="false" Explicit="True" %>
<head>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://api.maps.yahoo.com/ajaxymap?v=3.7&appid=MYAPPID "></script>
</head>
<body>
    <div id="map"></div>
    <asp:LinkButton ID="lnkSearch" runat="server" Text="Submit" PostBackUrl="" CausesValidation="false"></asp:LinkButton>

    <script type="text/javascript">
        // Create a map object
        var map = new YMap(document.getElementById('map'));
        // Display the map centered on a geocoded location
        map.drawZoomAndCenter("San Francisco", 3);
    </script>

</body>

and my code behnd is blank.  Exerything looks fine when the page first loads, but clicking on the LinkButton with Supports Partial Rendering checked under Module Definitions results in a my map disappering.  If Supports Partial Rendering is turned off, the page performs a full postback (not what I wanted) but the map persists.   Upon examination of the generated HTML in both scenarios, shows that the four additional javascript calls that Yahoo automatically inserts based on the embedded on are not performed )hence, no map).   I'm at a total loss.  Do I need to do something on the Page Initialize event?  Is there a dependency that needs to be set?

Help!
