I don't know what I did to make this happen, but it wasn't doing this the day before yestrday and thn began yesterday.

I'm runn DNN 4.8.1. I have developed several custom modules for our company portal. I have been installing and uninstalling them for the last few weeks of development without a hitch. Now, it suddenly wants to start putting my modules in a "Modules" subfolder in the bin, instead of the root of bin. Thats actually ok, if the module weren't looking for the DLL's in the bin root!

So I install then I get errors about not finding the DLL or can't access classes and namespaces or whatever they are, they are all fixed when I manually go in and add the DLL to the bin root.

So what have I done and what can I do to make this problem go away? How can I change it to go back to the bin root. There is nothing in my module.dnn config file that suggests a Module subfolder, so why all the sudden????

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Found the problem. Apparently I was using an old .dnn (config) file I made on DNN through"create a module package."

When i changed

<supportsprobingprivatepath>True</supportsprobingprivatepath>

to

<supportsprobingprivatepath>False</supportsprobingprivatepath>

It stopped creating my Modules subfolder and started putting them into the root of Bin.
