Hello everyone,

I think the subject says it all. I have sucessfuly upgraded my DotNetNuke from version 1.0.10 to 4.8.2. But a new and bigger problem arrived...I have a huge bunch of modules that are coded for version 1.0.10...anyone could give me some guidelines to upgrade them for version 4.8.2...or even version 3 and then i'd use the upgrade tool?

Please im desperate :(

One way you might be able to convert them is if you've still got the source code for the 1.10 version of the modules.

I'd add them as WAP projects in your DNN solution and then try to build them. You'll uncover the missing references, etc which you can go through and resolve and then what should be left would be any of the core functions that is being referenced in your 1.10 module....
One of the biggest areas that I'm thinking you'll run into issues is with the dataprovider itself.. I believe in 1.10 everything was not broken out into the separate UI, BLL and data access layers like it is currently the case.

I'm not sure if there's any other way, but if you go down this route, I'm sure there are a bunch of us on these forums that could possibly guide you through the conversion as you come up with issues...
