Hello, all.

I'm currently working on a custom DotNetNuke module, using the DotNetNuke Dynamic Module template that came with the Starter Kit. When I created the module, it created 01.00.00.SqlDataProvider, and Uninstall.SqlDataProvider. However, when I create a new module definition by going to Module Definitions->Import Module Definition and selecting my manifest file, it creates and installs the module, but does not run the 01.00.00.SqlDataProvider file. The only way to have the commands within 01.00.00.SqlDataProvider executed is to go to the "SQL" area of the Host settings, and execute it from there.

Does anyone know of a way to make sure that my SqlDataProvider gets run whenever my module gets installed?

While logged into the DotNetNuke installation as the Host account, select Module Definitions from the Host menu.

Then select Install New Module.

From the File Upload page, navigate to the ".zip" file that you downloaded and click the Upload New File link.

The module will upload...

This will run the .sql scripts
