I have created a custom control to store an uploaded image file in a SQL database table and associate it with a record in another table.

I am creating another control to display the main record and need to retrieve the related image and display it, without writing a temporary physical file.

I want to have a placeholder on that control to display the image.

I need help with the actual VB code to take the image retrieved from database and display it in place of the placeholder in my ascx control.

I can find lots of info on the web but most of it writes directly to the HTTP response or is specific to using a Winows Forms ImageBox - not web relevant.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
