My question is I want to modify "Update Password" function. I created a new module, copy and paste the code from admin/users/password.ascx.vb, and modified it, but I cannot get user's information.  User is null when debugging. I don't know how to get this information. I am new for DotNetNuke 4.8.2, I have worked on 2.12 for a couple of years.

 If UserController.ChangePassword(User, txtOldPassword.Text, txtNewPassword.Text) Then

 I appreciate any helps.

Make sure your module inherits from PortalModuleBase and you should then have access to UserInfo

I made the changes and I can access userinfo but still nothing  for user's info. I feel this should be easy,  not usre what kind of the  istake I made. Please advise.

I have been facing the same issue, but I am unclear as to your resolution from the postings.  Any chance I might get a bigger code snippet to better understand your approach?
