Can someone help me please.  I am new to developing modules for DNN and cant work out the best way to do this.

I have created a module with a datalist and this works fine.  Now I want to use the same data source but show the list in a different format on a different page.

Is there an easier way to do this then to create a new module?  I am thinking maybe use a settings page and select which view I want to use for each module but how would I go about doing this?

Any help would be really appreciated.

In DNN, page is represented by web user control. Because there is only one Default.aspx.

You if you said that you want to show on "different page", then i assume that you have to create "different web user control". Try to understand how navigation work in DNN.

I recomended to see this link : http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/NavigateURL

HTH.
