   The Starter Kit supports c# code too.When add a new module, set it's language as c# ,then you can have a c# version module.

   Notice that although vb.net version module can compile with Starter Kit without any problem, C# code module must add it's category into web.config file( under  <codeSubDirectories> section) to compile. Just like this:

   <codeSubDirectories>
    <add directoryName="CenyaProduct"/>

   </codeSubDirectories>

I'm having this same issue. After having installed the Starter Kit, I follow the installation guide's instructions and click on New Web Site in VStudio 2005 professional. I'm supposed to be able to pick the DNN framework in the C# language but nothing shows up... when I switch the language to VB, there it is.

Thanks.

There is no C# version of DNN.  See the posting on this.

It is possible to develop DNN modules in C#.  However there is no C# version of DNN itself.

I am not a developer but I do know of several who write in C# for DotNetNuke. I know that one of our core team members writes in c# as well and I think he's got a tutorial of some sort - I'll ask around and post here if someone soon doesn't come up with the link.

But the answer to your question is yes you can have modules work with DNN using your c# skills.
