Hi All,

I have a situation where we've given a third party vendor the friendly url but we now we need them to use a new friendly url. We are trying to get with the vendor to modify the link but as a back-up plan, I wanted to know if there is a way to redirect from an old TabId to a new TabId in dnn.

For Example:

OLD URL =http://www.mywebsite.com/WellnessLibrary/tabid/182/Default.aspx

to

NEW = http://www.mywebsite.com/LearnMenu/AccesstheHealthLibrary/tabid/3343/Default.aspx

I want the old url to be redirected to the new url. Is this possible using Friendly Url?

Thanks for your help in advance,

Edward

It should be possible by editing the page settings and choosing to point that page to the new page. There's a place where you can point to a new page, a file on the system or another URL.

Chris,

That worked. However, I tested on my dev website with a page and I'm not able to get back to the page so I can reset my settings back on that page. Is there a table in the database or a config file I can access to reset the page settings?

Thanks,

Edward
