Is there any instructions on how to ceate a DNN developement environment. that will alow me to install a DNN Module's source code that I have purchased from the developer as a Enterprise Edition on snowcovered. the source comes as  a VS project for the source code, no installer for the source code. I would the know how on what I need todo to setup a dotnetnuke solutions so I can edit and modify the module and recreate an installable PA version.

It is likely to vary by developer/module but we (Engage) develop our modules using the WAP model, meaning they open up as individual projects. The source package for our modules is installable just like a non-source module, when you install it will extract the source the appropriate directory then you would open up the Solution or Project file.

Ours all point to localhost/dotnetnuke_2 for debugging purposes, but you could setup your URL to meet your needs by editing the project/solution.
