Hi, is it possible to use drag & drop between different modules?

I have the following scenario: One module holds a couple of items, a second module is a subset of these items which the user selects from the fist module.

I'm aware I could do it either directly via database or with IMC. However to provide more convienience I would like to do it with drag and drop,

Any idea or link appreciated.

I do not know of a method, perhaps someone else does.

I would like to suggest that perhaps you have created two different modules when you may need just one. Many times module developers create two modules because they want one module to show products and another module to create new products.

Then they run into a problem because the module to create new products needs to know what category of products the person is currently viewing.

In a situation like this it would be best to simply create one module that performed both functions.

Furthermore, using the MultiView control allows you to have a person view a category, switch to a new view that allows the user to enter a product yet STILL read the selected (but now hidden) category.

Also, if you wanted to allow a person to drag adn drop it is a simple JavScript drag and drop.
