Is it possible from within a module to set "Display Container" to false, while still allowing module content to be rendered to the page?

Essentially the effect of unchecking the "Display Container" item in the settings.

Mitch,

Have you tried setting:

Me.ModuleConfiguration.DisplayTitle = False

It would have to be done as early as possible - Page_Init to have any effect. I havn't tried this but if anything would work, that should.

Yup, no luck there, I even tried putting it in PreInit, Init, and Load and nothing!

 I put this in the Page_Load section.

If(this.moduleConfiguration.DisplayTitle)
{
    ModuleController mc = new ModuleController();
    ModuleInfo mi = mc.GetModule(ModuleId, TabId);
    mi.DisplayTitle = false;
    Response.Redirect(Globals.NavigateURL()));
}

And that seems to work for me. Removes the container when placing a new module too. :)

Baatezu,

I actually stumbled across that last night, I am actually setting that value automatically when saving the settings for the module, which is a required first step for the module to work, so it is perfect!
