hi .. i have a problem using dnn:CommandButton..

<dnn:commandButton class="CommandButton" id="cmdAccept" ImageUrl="~/images/dnrt.gif" OnClick="cmdAccept_Click" Text="Apply" runat="server" />

in my codebehind :

protected void cmdAccept_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
        {
            Grid.DataBind();

        }

now the problem is that i notice in debug mode that the control  cmdAccept don't fire the event cmdAccept_Click... and my firebug give me an js error:

cmdAccept_Click is not defined ... so i think that OnClick="cmdAccept_Click" is a client function and not a server one...

Is it possible?? How it works?!

Hi Giorhio,

Can you check in your presentation code:
AutoEventWireup="false" ==> set to true

See if it works.

hi, im having the same problem. AutoEventWireUp is set to true and i added then OnClick as well but the event still doesnt fire.

is DotNetNuke using some sort of core process to define all the buttons and their actions or can they just be manually added to them?

Sounds like you have the Cache set to a non-zero value for the module.  Check the module's settings and set Cache to zero.  If it's non-zero, the event will not fire.
