Hi there,

I'm developer. Our designer gets the DNN running first and he installed all the default modules coming with DNN package. Then I copied all the files he had and got the site running on my machine too.

The issue comes when I open the DotNetNuke_VS2008 solution file and compiled it successfully. Then tried to open the site, it kept displaying a page with following information. When I click the "Click Here To Access Your Portal" link, the page just refreshes itself without going anywhere.

Upgrading DotNetNuke
Current Assembly Version: 04.08.04
Current Database Version: 04.09.00

Upgrade Status Report
00: - Upgrading to Version: 4.8.4
00:00:00.015 - Performing General Upgrades

Upgrade Complete

Click Here To Access Your Portal

Anyone experienced this before? Any Tip on how can I get app work again after compiling? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DotNetNuke does not need to be compiled... anyway sounds like a redirect loop, have you tried using Firefox? That will tell if you have a redirect loop or not.  Read this for more info: http://www.bestwebsites.co.nz/dotnetnuke/solving-the-dotnetnuke-redirect-loop/
