Hello, I got a problem when im making my own module :(

Well, I changed standard template module by adding just two lines of code:

<asp:TextBox ID="TextBox1" runat="server"></asp:TextBox>
<asp:Button ID="Button1" runat="server" Text="Button" onclick="Button1_Click" />

Well, everything is working fine except view state of control. The problem is where im click Button1, normaly in aspx it should reload page, but state of the control should be memorized. But it's not.... everytime i load page  by click button or just refresh page, it's cleaning my control state.

(Well, maybe it's no important but im using C# )

Thanks for eventualy reply...

Hi,

YOu would need to post some more of the codebehind file for me to answer this, but my first guess would be that you might be assigning values to the elements in the page_load. Make sure assigning of the values is done within a

if (!Page.IsPagePostback)

{

assignments

}

This stops the page from re-assigning on each postback. If this is not the issue please post the first few lines of your ascx file and the lines in your ascx.cs file

hth.
