Hope this is the right forum. I have a client that wants to assign  a unique ID number to the member. Is there a quick way to create this within DNN, is there a module available to do this or is there anyone here that has done this through customization?

To be  more specific this number needs to be generated per new user and serve as a member id (similar to a bank or utility account number) for the member and backend accounting and querying. My deadline is aproximately one week so any responses would be appreciated.

Each user is already assigned a unique ID, the UserID.  Take a look at the UserInfo class.
