Hi,

In my project i want  to implement search functionality. My application is deployed in one server, and using my application we have uploaded lot of documents to another server(Remote server) But the document paths are stored in the database. So if the user enter some text in the text box and click on search button  it should find out in which document contains  the text which the user has typed and show the particular document to the user.the remote server contains lacs of files(Documents).

Can anyone help how can we implement this concept using asp.net 2.0.

Thanks&Regards

V.Vinil Bradesh.

Check out QuickSearch module from Apollo, which supports search in files using MS Index Server.
