I have a LINQ to SQL datasource populating a GridView in .NET 3.5.  I want to set up a WHERE clause based on the UserId of the person logged in.  Can I use a Session parameter or a Profile parameter?  I am using the GUI interface to set the datasource up and see the list of items in there, but didn't know if I could use those or not.  If so, how would I go about it?

In the code behind for the LinqDataSource, Selecting Event....

Something like this works for me.

dim db as new MyDataClassesDataContext

e.Result = From a in db.MyTable Where a.ModuleId = ModuleId And a.UserId = UserInfo.UserId

Hope that helps,

Burl
