I am avoiding the costly Reflection involved using CBO's FillObject and CreateObject methods using the alternative IHydratable interface.

I am not comfortable with the implementation of the CBO class publicly available method:

FillObject(ByVal dr As IDataReader, ByVal objType As Type, ByVal ManageDataReader As Boolean) As Object

Setting ManageDataReader = true calls dr.Read() and it should not.  Because when dr is passed down through CreateObject to your IHydratable.Fill method, you now have to wonder whether dr.Read() has already been called (i.e. was ManageDataReader set true or false)

Sorry - off topic, but I published a set of CodeSmith templates to output the IHydratable class for an object if you want it.
