I'm adding roles to my system programmaticlly and have no problems doing so by using the AddRole method of the RoleController class. But this method is marked as deprecated. Which method is it replaced with? I noticed that the DNN core of 4.9 still uses it but it would be interesting to know if there is  more correct way of doing this.

Although the following signature of the AddRole method in the RoleController class was indeed deprecated:

Public Function AddRole(ByVal objRoleInfo As RoleInfo, ByVal SynchronizationMode As Boolean) As Integer

the following method is available:

Public Function AddRole(ByVal objRoleInfo As RoleInfo) As Integer
