Hi Everyone,
I am trying to install my own custom module which i have created in C#. First i had a simple Dnn project in c# then i used Module Packager to convert it into zip file. After converting it when i tried to install in DNN it is giving me errors.

The package contains files with invalid File Extensions.
Could you please help me on this.

I dont know what is the problem may be with my module or may be with the Module Packager. if you anything else to pack a module in zip file please let me know.

Thanks a lot
Akshay

Anyone else experience this and know what needs to be done to correct it? I've created a module that works fine in 4.9 but gives me this same error in 5.0. I've told it to ignore file restriction and end up with an "Invalid File Extension" message and no module installation.

Where can I find a list of the new manifest specification/requirements?

Thanks in advance.

~ Paul

I actually figured it out. After clicking the "Ignore File Restrictions" box, you have re-select your package or else you get the Invalid File Extension message. Duh! =)
