Hi.

I'm looking for solution to check in my custom module if user has permission to edit page.
As I understand, it's equal to permission to edit module settings.

Could anyone help me a bit ?

I know PortalModuleBase.IsEditable property, but that's not I'm looking for.
My idea is to place some module settings on 'main' module view, and show them only to users that has permission to edit settings.

So you are looking to see if the user has permissoin to edit the page, not the module?

Page Edit is different than Module Edit. Module edit changes the "IsEditable" flag and allows access to some, not all of the ContextMenu for that module, on most modules it will just open up the "Edit" menu option, and not the others.

Page Edit will allow access to the Settings section, plus the ability to move/delete the module.

If you are wanting additional permissions for that module on the page, you might want to check out http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryId/1052/Custom-Module-Permissions-Enhance-your-modules.aspx which allows adding custom security settings for your module. (Very useful)

I'm probably not understanding exactly what you need, so please elaborate if I've been useless. :)
