Hi there,

Any idea how can I increase the time of the scriptmanager in DNN 4.9?

Whenever I open my site, it will prompt me the error showing that sys.webforms.pagerequestmanagertimeoutexception: server request timeout.

I saw some forums and they were saying it could be due to the scriptmanager default time of 90 seconds. Please help me on this. thanks! urgent!

I think the problem is you have a JavaScript function or a web service that is making a call to a resource that does not exist (anymore?) and the request times out.

Try rebuilding every item on the page piece by piece until you get the error. Also turn on JavaScript errors in IE so it will show you any JavaScript errors.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your reply.

I have followed your instructions by build each page, however, all the pages that I have built all get "Succeeded" msg, but still I go get the server timeout error.

You mean even if you take everything off of the page you get the error? You should be able to create a completely blank page and not get the error, then put in each element one-by-one until you get the error.
