I am a new DNN user, so please bear with me.  I have a simple module with a few check boxes and a text box (for an email address).  When the "Submit" button is clicked, the information is stored in a database and an email is sent to the user.  The module works correctly when I test it in edit mode, but when I am in view mode...nothing happens.  The database is not updated and an email is not sent.  I know it is probably really simple, but what am I missing?  I appreciate any help.

I figured out my problem and it was really simple.  I had the default cache time for the module set to 0.  Changing it to -1 solved my problem.
