Hey there,

I wonder if anyone out there could share their experience and practices around integration Sales Force with DotNetNuke. Specifically, we need to integrate the user profile and authentication information. The process flow we aspire to is:  User registers for a volunteer opportunity (through an application we host internally) > Information is registered in SalesForce > An account is automatically created in our DNN install .

Could anyone suggest where to find out more about how we might achieve this or, perhaps better, connect to discuss (My LinkedIn profile is here, to provide a safe way to connect: http://www.linkedin.com/in/davecrusoe ) ?

Many thanks for your help & suggestions,

--Dave

Dave,

My name is Anthony and I'm looking for the same type of integration between DNN and Salesforce.  If you receive any information would you be able to share?  I will more than happy to share any information on this subject that I may come across as well.

Respectfully,

Anthony

Does Sales Force provide API (web service?) to manage user/profile in sales force?  For DNN, you could use IWEB module to create account and update profile.

Yes that will work if SalesForce has an API to call INTO the DNN site. If the DNN site needs to call OUT TO the SaleForce web service then you will will need to use the method in this module:

(it is a DNN module calling an external web service)
