I am using dnn texteditor. If I have the basic editor selected, then the .Text property does contain the correct text, but as soon as I change to Rich Text editor the .Text property of the DNN TextEditor control is cleared out/blank. What am I doing wrong?

Here is the code on my ASCX:

<

dnn:texteditor id="tagcontent" runat="server" width="100%" height="300"></dnn:texteditor>

Now here is the code I am using in my Page_Load just to see what is stored in the txtHTML control.

dim txt as String = txtHTML.Text

I can't get anything to display when I have the control in RichText mode.

I think TextEditor in Dnn 4.8 version has issues with Ajax . If your Page is set to Ajax it wont works .

1 If You Dropped it in View or Edit page of the Module . Then Unceck the checkbox of Parital rendering of that
  particular page in  module  Definitions

2 If you Dropped it in Setting Page replace with TextBox ( Multimode ) or install Latest TextEditor from Dnn
