Hi friends, I'm having a problem because i invoke a store procedure that expends more than 90 seconds, the button that invokes that method is inside an updatepanel, after 90 minutes I got this error message "sys.webforms.pagerequestmanagertimeoutexception: the server request timed out dnn"..

My dnn version is 4.9.1, and IIS 6.0.

Thans for your help!!!

Have you considered running the stored proc call asynchronously?

Some options:

1) higher the execution timeout value in your web.config (element httpRuntime, attribute executionTimeout: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/e1f13641.aspx)

2) schedule a task in DNN to run your code. The task will run on a separate thread and not be subject to the asp.net execution timeout

3) [advanced] create a background thread and run the code inside that thread. Return a "progress tracking page" that will periodically poll the server to check if the task has completed.
