Thanks William

This worked perfectly what I wanted , I had written my own function in Controller class with the basics of code given

Public Sub ReplaceModuleTitle

(ByVal title As String, ByVal ContainerCtrl As System.Web.UI.Control)

          Dim ctl As Control =

               DotNetNuke.Common.FindControlRecursiveDown(ContainerCtrl, "lblTitle")

If Not ctl Is Nothing Then

                           CType(ctl, Label).Text = title

          End If

  End Sub
