Hi,

i am going to write a "module" which consists of several other modules. These modules could be placed on different pages in the portal. Now, my question is what the recommended DotNetNuke way regarding the navigation is.  Also i would like to know whether there are controls to maintain something liek this.

Thank you in anticipation,

matze

if you need to communicate between modules on different pages, you need to identify the "sets" (target page) and pass information either by using querystring parameters, cookies or database. Unfortunately, there are no prebuilt controls I am aware of.

hi sebastian,

1) thank's for your answer. I don't have to pass information between the modules. I just have to navigate to a module which could be on another page. An Example: Developing a shop module i would like to have a opportunity for the user to navigate in a workflow manner.

2) By the way, regarding information passing, does DNN supports the SESSION, which i can use in common asp.net applications?
