Hello

I'm using VWD 2OO5 and Sql Server 2000 for my DNN 4.9.1  modules

Until now I used to manipulate single tables in my Data Base, so the work was easy to manipulate it. But now I have a situation that need to hundle 4 tables in the Data base. My question is how can I make my Foreign keys work correctly, and from where I must create my tables(In the SQL link of the Host count, directly in Sql Server....?)

Take the case of those 2 tables for exemple:

Team(Team_ID,Team_Name, Coatch)

Player(Player_ID, Player_Number, #Team_ID)

I hope that I clearly make the question, and I'm counting on you to help me again!

its definitely easier to create your tables using sql management studio.

in your sample: the table Team needs to have TeamId to be a primary key, in table player you can then make a foreign key from field TeamId to field TeamId in table Team

more about this (database normalization) here: http://databases.about.com/od/specificproducts/a/normalization.htm
