Working with DNN4.9.0 in VS2008, .NET 2.0 here.  I'm trying to customize a source package I purchased for a 3rd-party module, and I keep getting a "overload resolution failed because no accessible 'NavigateURL' can be called without a narrowing conversion" error during build.  I'm wracking my brains, because I can't figure out exactly what the original developer was trying to do, or how he managed to get this to build in the first place.  The offending call is:

DotNetNuke.Common.Globals.NavigateURL(_TabID, "DocumentTypeManager", "mid", _ModuleID)

where _TabID and _ModuleID are int values.

Any ideas?

It looks like they're trying to do EditUrl("DocumentTypeManager").  Adding an "mid" parameter to a NavigateURL call is the same as using EditUrl.

This code might work somewhat if you call .ToString on _ModuleID, but I'd think it'd need to be "mid" & _ModuleID.ToString() to actually work.

Hope that helps,

Thanks, that did allow it to build, but there were some more issues; I think I'm just going to try with the original developer on this one!
