Hi DNN Community,

I am starting a new module that requires sending links to my portal users. What I want to achieve is to send

out links in this format:

http://mydomain/myportal/mymodulename/paramA/1/paramB/parambvalue

not like the default (because its long) url generated by DNN

http://mydomain/Community/Forums/tabid/795/ctl/PostEdit/forumid/111/action/new/mid/2108/Default.aspx

Where can I do this? Where do I start?

Thank you!

I'm not certain I understand what you are trying to accomplish. Is your module generating the links (i.e. sending the links)? Or are you sending the links to your poral users and you need to know how to consume the links in your new module?

Hi John,

Sorry for the confusion, Im sending the links to my portal users,  my module needs to understand the custom URL (http://mydomain/myportal/mymodulename/paramA/1/paramB/parambvalue) used by the user.

Thank you!
