We currently use DNN as an intranet application for our employees.  I am building a VB.Net Windows application that needs the user to logon.  I was wondering how to tie this into the DNN security instead of forcing employees to remember another login and password.  Has anyone done anything like this?

Thanks,

Jim Plankenhorn

Hi , James

you should use Active Directory in DNN. So if your employes us domainid to login there system than this module may helpfull to you.

And it's ready made module so you can download this module from this site

and if you want any help than search forums for "active directory" you 'll find so many threads.

thanks

Hi , Michael

I want to ask similar question about athentication.

If i am using CustomAthentication Module created by IHttpHandler and i configure this module to all my web application after that , still i have to use SOS.

Because i am configure common Athentication module to each web app. So adding coockie by one web application 'll also accessable by another.

And currently in my case it's working without SOS and i am getting coockie in each web app. as well as web.service.

So is it any bug or problem in my allpication which 'll allow me to get coockie in all web application. Because each web application has different request.

or it is a nature of Custom Athentication Module.

so please tell me am i goig in right direction?

thanks

sahil
