Hello

I'm interested in modifying an existing module in DNN (UMG module).

After changing source code, I need to install a UMG PA (Private Assembly)

is it the correct step. If it's, how using VB 2005, can I do that?

I am blocked, I need help please

Thanks

You'll need to repackage your changes into the UMGA PA. You can find more information in the Module Development Guide (Part 1).

Thanks for responding me

repackage: means copy UMG source code into the /DesktopModules\BizModules - UltraPhotoGallery  ?

then I use VB 2008 to compile the UMG_DOTNET2.sln file ?

Is it all to do ?

Regards

You would have to modify the module and compile the changes. Then you will have to create a new PA. You would have to make sure all of your changes make it into the PA. You can use the Module Development Guide to assist.
