I'm attempting to create a class that will be used to log a user in automatically when they try to enter the site (or redirect if the proper credentials are not retrieved).  Since I'm integrating dotnetnuke into a pre-existing site I'm unable to rely on one single method of authenticating a user to both dotnetnuke and the rest of the site (composed of about 5 other applications).  The long term answer will be dotnetnuke slowly taking over one application after another (I believe).  After reviewing the desktopmodules/authenticationservices/dnn/login.ascx.vb I've been able to get most of the code to attempt to get a user logged in.  I've pulled in all the appropriate classes so far to get to the point where theUserAuthenticatedEventArgs object is created.  I can't seem to import/inherit the appropriate classes to use OnUserAuthenticated(eventArgs).  Has anyone else tried to do this and if so how did they pull this off?

Thanks,

Charles
