Hi all,

I can't work out how to display an image which is stored in the database using an aspx file using Response.BinaryWrite in the code behind.

When i right click on the image and goto properties the path looks fine, if it was to be in an ordinary web application.  However, I am guessing the problem is due to the path and it will have to reflect the environment it is being used in - that being DotNetNuke.

Can someone please help me out with this.  I am completely stuck and don't know where to go from here.  Basically, I have an aspx file called RetrieveImage.aspx which has a ID parameter for the Id of the image in the database.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Mark

I managed to get it working.

Instead of using an apsx page with the page load event I create a generic handler and all is ok.  The code is below for the generic handler - pretty much self explanatory.

try

{

int imageID = Convert.ToInt32(context.Request.QueryString["ID"]);DataTable dt = new DataTable();AdviserDocument objAdviserDocument = new AdviserDocument();"image/jpeg";

 Hope this work for you all :)

Mark

objAdviserDocument = objAdviserDocument.GetDocument(imageID);

context.Response.ContentType =

context.Response.BinaryWrite(objAdviserDocument.Data);

}
