Hi,

I just had this error below. It's kinda strange, I used to have this problem before, it fixed itself after a while. now this happened to me again. I'm trying to use English datetime format. Also I'm using asp.net ajax date picker to get the date. Thanks guys

"Conversion from string "22/10/2007" to type 'Date' is not valid.

System.InvalidCastException: Conversion from string "31/05/2009" to type 'Date' is not valid. at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ToDate(String Value) at

fairly obvious that it's an issue with the non-american date format, but how do I fix it?

you have to make sure that the culture of the page (uiculture) and of the thread are both correct (presumably en-GB). One way of forcing that is to add a new language (en-GB) to your site (through host>languages), and make that the only available language. In order to do that go to Host> Languages and turn off en-US. You might need to change the default language of the portal to en-GB first (Admin>SiteSettings)
