Hi i tried to call a webservice asynchronously from a dnn module. But that doesn't work. I read something about this issue in the Chat of this page. But there wasn't an answer to this. Does anybody knows a solution for that? Patching the Default.aspx isn't a good idea in my eyes. I just need to call a webservice asynchronously and then I want to forget about this. I'am not going to attach to an end delegate.

Hope anybody has an idea,

thanks in advance, Matze

Create a new thread and call the web service from within the new thread. Make sure the thread waits for the webservice call to finish before it exits the thread function (call the web service synchronously).
