I built a module on a home installation (SQLexpress2005 and VB2008 in DNN 04.09.01) and deployed it to a hosting service.

The Module references "~/DesktopModules/ModuleName/App_LocalResources/Card-c.jpg" as the path to a graphic... which shows up just fine at home, but fails on the target host.

My Home install is in a FileSystem server, ... so the Root of the Application is the root of the file system branch, but on the host the application root is "/content".

I had to edit the graphic path to include "/content" to make it work.

Isn't "~" supposed to do that for me?

Yeah many people have that kind of problems when dealing with application path, I just want to advise if it is .net controls, yes you can use the ~ which refer to application path, but other that it is better to include a rootpath such as for images.
Hope this help.

Regards,
andy
