Hi all. I have a custom module and a custom defined class inside view control. I use the instance of this class to store settings. The problem is when I put 2 same modules on a page and settings get mixed up. Can someone explain me how to correctly define class and its instance inside DNN module? When to use private and when to use public? private class mySettings { static private string _MyID; static private string _MyType; public mySettings() { } public string MyID { get { return _MyID; } set { _GalleryID = value; } } public string MyType { get { return _MyType; } set { _MyType= value; } } } ... private static mySettings myappSettings = new mySettings();

Hi Alen,

Why have you declared the member variables static? A static field is shared between all instances of a class. Try removing "static" from this code and see if it works or not.

Thanks & Regards,
